thats so true cheryl. but all we can do as a group is try to educate the best we can. i have ran across soooo many "tiny" breeder sites that its unreal. even in my local newspaper...there they are. It's sad for sure. But it doesnt change the fact that if i met someone who owned one of those babies, that I would welcome them with open arms because they either - didnt know better, or -happen to have really wanted what they have. my views on breeders of tinies will never change! i'm against it. but i have had tiny puppies in litters from standard parents, and they were darling! they are all yorkies...as long as their lines are true. i just wanted to stress that as a member of this forum i love them all and have for over a decade now. i've learned so much over the years concerning size, outward appearance, temperment, bloodlines, ect. But it all comes down to all of us who truly love this breed no matter what! Show me a healthy, tiny yorkie and i'll melt! Show me a 7-10 lb yorkie and I will also fall at their feet! Thank God that the "jeff dane's" out there are getting exposed for what they are....making their pockets fatter!
