That is crazy! Glad you took him in before it got any worse.
Something similar happened to Riley. He didn't start bothering his stitches until about little over 1 month later. He had internal dissolvable ones. He started licking nonstop and the site started getting red and I could see part of a stitch poking through. The vet said he was having a reaction to the stitches and his body was trying to push them Out. He made a little slit and pulled the remaining stitches out. After that, he healed right up. |
