I'm sorry to hear the loss of your shih tzu. I am also sorry that you had this happen to you- Some people are ruthless. I would say the best thing you can do is keep them and love them- Of course if you can not afford two Yorkies then re home one of them. I would def take them to the vet and schedule them for spay and neuter.
If you do keep them, it will get easier- These poor babies have been through so much- Who knows how they were treated, and by the way it sounds they were not treated well at all!!
I hope you are able to keep them and keep them together, love and cherish them! It will get easier for you!!
