  One other thing.  Report this woman to the CKC.  Canadian Kennel Club.  You never know she might just be a member.  Also it is their rules that the paperwork for change of ownership must be supplied to the purchaser at the time of purchase.   iT is one of the papers you would sign at the time you pick up your puppies.  
 Also when you feel ready you can report her to the BBB and various other on line organizations - you were scammed - fight back with the tools that are available to you.
 
 On the medical side; as someone mentioned above, a very thorough exam should be done with these two.   Full blood work, full physical (this should include, eyes, ears, heart, teeth and structure.    I would also request the BATS be done on them.  Bile Acid Test.  It is about $60-$65 - at least that is what I paid in Ontario.
 
 This seller in all likelihood had a reason for selling these two, which is unlikely to be anything she told you.  The most likely reason is some health issue with both of them, that precludes their being bred again.  And that is worrisome.
