I am sorry that these thieves robbed you like this. I don't know the laws in your part of the world, but follow up with the police or your local court system to see if there is anything that can be done. I am guessing that you paid in cash so there is no check to stop, or charges to reverse.

For the male, I would advise buddy bands. I think they are sold at most chain petstores or you can d.i.y. by cutting off the cuff from a sweatshirt and lining it with a maxi pad. Put it on him like a skirt with the maxi pad over the boy area.

I don't like ceasar food. For the first few days I would serve boiled chicken and rice then slowly introduce a high quality limited ingredient kibble. It may take a while to find something that works for them. I think setting up a schedule and plenty of exercise can help calm them down in the first few weeks. Can you set up a child gate in your kitchen on laundry area to give them a den and keep them confined when you cant supervise them?

Best of luck, I hope it all works out.
