I have a new contact who has not contacted me for head counts, meal counts, dietary needs, day of schedule, rehearsal, final payments, no explanation for a $375 charge we see on our CC that we didn't expect. Its a mess, and I'm a mess! I paid for THE BEST, and I want THE BEST. I shouldn't be FREAKING out 11 days before the wedding, begging my HALL to meet with me to ease my mind! What a mess!!!!
I'll keep you all posted, I really hope they straighten up their act! I know I am not having a summertime, 500 person wedding, but they are still getting about $8500 of OUR money and whatever money our guests spend either staying in a room or drinks or food in the restaurant/tavern/wine bar or gift shop on site. Its disgusting! | Oh No! I'm so sorry you're having these troubles so close to the big day! I hope you get it all worked out to your satisfaction. I know to us this is our biggest day, but to the venues and vendors we deal with, it's just another job. Quote:

Thinking about all this stuff makes it seem SO REAL now! | We met with the priest 2 weeks ago also to do last minute paperwork, and to choose our readings. We went with the old-school wording and saying the "I do's" instead of repeating the vows after the priest. Fiance was nervous that he would stutter if he has to try to repeat the vows. He said he has always pictured himself saying "I do" at the altar.
