What was your crate/xpen/bed arrangement for a new puppy? We haven't gotten our pup yet but right now we have a soft side travel bag an xpen and a little bed.

Is that good for a pup or do we need a true crate as well? We are looking at rescue so not sure who we will bring home but I was thinking if we end up with a really young one, we could put the travel bag inside the xpen to make it cozy. Good idea or no?
