My little one gets cold very easily. I kept her coat long last summer for a couple of reasons. I like the long coat and I don't mind combing her daily. She has a fine silky coat and if I had her cut down I don't think she would look too great anyway. I did not notice that she suffered from the heat at all and when I had a fan or the AC on at night time she would climb under my sheet or her blanket to get away from the cool air blowing on her.
I guess it's more about your comfort level and how much time you have for the upkeep. She is an adorable little darling. Like I said, I just love the long coat and think it's worth a few extra minutes a day to maintain. |
