The tick was definitely flat...it was not engorged. I'm pretty sure I caught it early..the tick's back legs werent even all the way in yet. I did call the vet and they said that a lyme's test wont show up this early. They told me to keep an eye on the area and make sure the area doesnt worsen. Also to watch his activity level and gate for any limping and his appetite. The good news is he's still a maniac, running all over the house and loves to eat! LOL
