It is a pain in the patootie, but I have to feed 5 separately....they each eat breakfast in the kitchen, each on one side of the island....the 5th one eats in the utility foom, separated by a baby gate. I used to free feed, but they were getting entirely too fat, for the same reason you are having now....so I cut them down to 2 meals a day....1/3 cup of diet Royal Canin for breakfast, and less than 1/4 cup + 6 canned green beans at night. No canned dog food...doesnt help with dental care and stools become soft....when stools are firm, that helps express those anal glans...I have enough drama around my house without anal gland drama!...) |
