Many "Breeders" have been breeding yorkies back to the silky lines and this type of pup is the product, nor a yorkie or a silky, but a mix of both with more yorkie than silky traits or vice versa, WE the silky breeders are calling them mutts, but the designer Breeders call them "silkshires" and demand big bucks for them..
your pup is adorable no matter what, but thank to this kind of breeder unless we know the blood lines now we need DNA testing for both breeds.. more often than before..
sorry for the rant.. I am just frustrated with the bad breeding that is going on..
