UPDATE: The phone call with Katelyn tonight was actually very informative and I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I reallly needed it cause I was getting depressed being back home without my whole family. So Katelyn said this morning with Dr. Shores & Dr. Ortinau Cali walked on carpet and they were really impressed....as well as perplexed at what is going on with her. Anyway, they think she is almost ready to come home so I may get her next weekend....YEAH!!!! Hopefully they will get her down or off some of her meds. Currently she is on PO: Augmentin, Valium, Prednisone, Tramadol, & Dilantin. The treatments she is getting is passive ROM and some type of physical therapy. I think I can handle all of it although I'm slightly scared. I just want to do everything perfect for her recovery.
On another note, I'm not sure who the student will be taking over Cali's care. Katelyn said she will suggest a 4th year student but who knows. Anyway, I hope for an 8am phone call tomorrow. Updates to follow...
