I got a chance to go to the fabric store today.
Let me just say is was a stressful/wonderful trip. Stressful? Cause I had my 2 year old son with me and he just wouldn't stop. He wanted to play with EVERYTHING. As adorable as that can be sometimes, it can get stressful when you are in a tiny store. Wonderful? Cause they have beautiful fabrics. I couldn't decided on what to get. But I finally made my decision and picked out these two beautiful fabrics. I just know they are going to look beautiful on Darla.
I also managed to make my way over to Walmart to buy all the extra little things I needed to get, including a pattern that I need to figure out how to use. I tried to find someone at both places who would teach me, but they told me I had to wait another month for classes.
But I talked to my Tia and she told me they were fairly easy and to watch a youtube video for help.
So hopefully now that I got the ammo, I can find the time to actually pull the trigger and make a dress. I'm always soo darn busy. Gonna really try tonight though.
