PS...and we can use incorrect coat or color in a breeding program..and we may get some great pups, but you will find the fault will show up again, might not be in the next generation..as a rule it skips to the 3rd...that why a person can buy a pup from two silk coated parents and get cotton from that offspring...one of the grandparents was cotton...and I agree, you keep the faults you can live with..color and coat is not life threathening.
