Having the Styptic powder or pencil near by is a must for those who clip nails. I won't do it alone. I always have someone hold while I clip. Dog's that are very hard to handle need to go to a groomer. Once they have been hurt the dog does not forget it. I had one that would be an angel for the groomer but would fight like a wolf if we tried to do it.
