Okay, I know we have gone over this numerous times but I need some help here...
With the Chicken Soup scare I took Muffin off of that food. I had some Wellness Puppy Food left so I was giving her that. She didn't seem thrilled with it but if I mixed it with some canned she ate it with some coaxing.
After hearing all of the WONDERFUL things some of you have said about Innova, I decided to try that. After calling 8 pet stores I still couldn't find it so I ordered it online. Muffine LOVES it!
Monday I was at a pet boutique in the area and they had Innova Evo. The sales clerk said that Evo was not age restricted so any age dog could eat it. I asked her why she ony carried the Evo she said due to space constraints, she couldn't carry everything and thought the Evo was the better choice.
With having a 2 1/2 year old Maltese as well, I thought maybe I could feed them both the Evo. My Maltese weights 10 pounds and still eats twice a day. He's been on Wellness since he was a puppy. Would Evo have too many calories for him?
I did get a sample bag of the Evo and my babies gobbled it up like it was candy.
Some of you have stated that the Evo is too high in protein. Some of you have said that it's not good for dogs not to have a food that doesn't contain grains. It's all so confusing!!
I'd appreciate your feedback.
