You don't think it's some kind of reaction from a bite, do you? Maybe a bug of sorts that could have been in the house without knowing? Poor guy.
Our family's JRT mix got stung by a bee and is evidentally allergic and swelled up sooo bad. Her feet were huge and her face looked like a chipmunk and she actually was beginning not to breathe. It was a good 40 minute drive to the ER but it was sooo scary. I'll never forget seeing her like that.
