Oh my, we have been there and it's so very hard. The emotional hurt is almost unbearable. Pat & I both agree, it's our place to see to their best interest and not be selfish just for ourselves, when we know it's time to let them go.
I can say, you will know when it's time and you will reach inside and give them the last gift of love you can give...seeing to their comfort.
