I personally wouldn't buy toys from the dollar store because they are almost always made in China. It's soooo hard to find toys that are not...I have such a problem with it because my dog is toy crazy and it's difficult to find things I know he will like that will be the right type and size AND not be made in China! I got even more afraid the other night when I saw an recent news story of a dog that became really sick after getting a new Petco brand toy for Christmas. The toy tested positive for a bunch of really nasty things and Petco recalled them....but it makes you wonder how many more toys are on the shelves with the exact same thing!
Another thing you could try is putting the toy in a laundry basket full of your dirty clothes for about 12 hours. She'll be able to smell your scent on it after and that might make her want it more. |
