sorry if this is long, but i need some suggestions... So meesha loves to play with her toys, however after a certain amount of time she'll get sick of them and retire them, i tried hiding the ones she retired and giving them to her again after a few weeks as if they were new ones. she still knew they were not new and wanted nothing to do with them.shes so smart she knows they are old..i tried it again after washing them so she'd think they were new, still nothing, then i tired them again after rubbing bacon and other meats on the toys lol, still she wanted nothing to do with them?
she wont bite them touch them and turns her head away when i try to get her to play with them...
however when i buy her a new toy she gets so excited runs around all hyper throwing it around, barking and growling at them, just having a blast, however after a few weeks those toys she loved so much become part of the retired group of toys. Finally she exhausted all of her toys, she has so many i could not justify buying new ones, the only toy she'll alway still play with are the cat tunnels i got her, those have never been retired however after a certain amount of time playing with them she'll get bored and look at me and bark until i find her something new to play with, or play fetch or tug-a-war with her..if i dont do this, she'll get depresseed and lay down all day looking like a floppy lost puppy.Buying new toys seems like such a waste when she has so many, i tried some things suggested on here water bottle with treats, she has a fear of plastic or rubbery toys for some reason any toy that is plastic, i;ve bought her a few and she barks at them until i put them away..i can't keep buying her new toys she has wayyy too many as it is, any other suggestions of what i can do to get her to play with her old toys, i'm at my wits end with this, or maybe some suggestions of things to make to keep her entertained... i love how she plays with new toys, it keeps her so occupied, happy and healthy puppy..i just wish she wouldn't retire them..
