After talking it out I decided to just be truthful now so I texted her and said "Did you actually come over today? There was a draft stopper at the front door and it hasn't moved..." and she hasn't replied yet. Scott wanted me to just not write her a cheque, saying "sorry I forgot" and then have her come over for it on Sunday but instead of giving her money, just tell her we know she hasn't been coming over and get our key back. I don't want to be a jerk like that about it. I'm a little worried that she might be angry because she does have our key and we don't know where she lives. |

I know she is in a tiny town...but somehow was not thinking that it is a huge place.
