Fatigue and hair loss can be related to an under-active thyroid: hypothyroidism. I would check in with your vet and ask about doing a thyroid panel and other basic blood tests, especially if Maggie hasn't had any done in the last 12 months. A basic chemistry contains a couple of thyroid function tests, but a full panel would give a better picture. With a basic exam, your vet may find another explanation for the hair loss and decreased energy level.
