Perhaps my little buddy just has bad aim.
Maybe I do have to trim him differently and pay closer atention to him when he pees.
As far as his pee string it's just those hairs I guess at the end of his penis. They kind of form a pointy string and that must guide the pee. I don't know if that's what the problem is, but I have been trimming it. Thank you for that link as well. I'll keep trying different things because It's very important for me to keep a clean dog.
I'm also going to give him quick wipes more often with water and a rag as some said.
