I have two males and I keep one of them in a puppy coat to decrease the chances of him getting his aim wrong and peeing on his coat. Do you keep your male's coat short? I find that this helps.

I also trim the hair on their penises when I give them their sanitary haircuts. Many people believe that keeping the hair on the tip is good because it directs the pee downward, but this tuft of hair will then smell like pee. I like to keep it trimmed completely - it's really not a hassle once you're used to it.
