Pups in renal failure often do not have an appetite no matter what you feed them. That is why I suggested speaking with the vet about mirtazapine. It is not given long term...it is given to stimulate the appetite. I have seen pups take that medicine and eat anything put in front of them. One friend of mine said it was like a miracle...and it is...my Cody would eat nothing....once he started on that he tried to eat my vet's plants when we went there. It was unbelievable.

It is very important that they eat, but not just any food because it can make them sicker. That is the reason I suggested that medication.
