I'm so sorry that you and your baby are going through this. My little Heidi lived for 3 1/2 years after being diagnosed with chronic renal failure. Her BUN and creatinine were really high and after 3 days of IV's at the vet we were sent home to do sub-q fluids twice a day with some other meds (enalapril and azodyl and vitamins). We eventually went to fluids every day. It was a hard road and there were several times that I almost lost her but I got 3 1/2 more years with my precious girl. She was just a few days away from 18 yrs when I had to make that terrible decision for her. I wish I had known to ask for the drug that would stimulate her appetite because it got to where she just didn't want to eat. I'll keep you and your baby in my thoughts and prayers.
