My vet didn't even tell me about possible reactions to the LEPTO vaccine. I don't understand this, he only told me when I asked him what negative reactions I should look for. He's also pushing for the lyme disease vaccine. I live in Long Island, NY-does anyone have a great vet that is familiar with toy breeds. I love my vet, but I don't think he knows toys...please help. I am very concerned now! Although Louie got the Lepto vaccine today and he has been doing great. I don't think I'll let him do the second round though. I am SO friggin' confused now. I live in an area where there are many racoons with rabies. The town sent out a notice not too long ago that they had caught racoons and they all had rabies.
