I don't know if this completely counts, because I've had fennel before (didn't care for it). But when I took my cooking class last year, we made grilled fennel, and I loved it. I got a grill pan this weekend and yep, I still love grilled fennel.
Also, I made wild rice, which I've also had before, but haven't made for myself. It's awesome.
Does anyone else use a grill pan? I was a little disappointed - I didn't get highly defined grill lines, just more general browning.
