Last friday morning I called my regular vet clinic to ask some additional questions regarding Lexi's Tumor. The vet tech could not find answers to my questions. Advising me that the vet had not completed her notes in Lexi's file. She said she would have the Vet call me. As of this moment I have not received a return call.
With that being said I took her in for a second opinion and a new vet this morning. This new Vet was very informative and thorough. He advised that with the unresolved small needle aspiration (not even sent over by the previous vet yet) surgery to remove and biopsy would be the best route. He even went over best case worst case so I was comfortable with him no matter the path we are given. Price for Surgery was comparable to the other Vet. So.. Surgery is scheduled for Friday. Please keep Lexi in your prayers that her new Vet be gentle and kind yet aggressive with her treatment.
