I wouldn't microwave even the water to mix with his food. Microwaving reverses the polarity of water molecules extremely rapidly, damaging them severely...ripping them apart, sort of, as I understand it. Better to heat purified water in a glass container put into a water bath to warm up...it only takes a few minutes. They did experiments with giving cooled microwaved water to plants and the plants that got the microwaved water all died where the plants that got plain water flourished. Not saying your baby would perish...just saying you want him to flourish so you probably also want to give him the best possible chance.
The experiments used to be on the internet...not sure now. Got rid of my microwave after researching the dangers...too tempting!
