My puppy and I have been together about 4 weeks now. He is 5 1/2 months old. He is a nervous puppy and shakes when he is unsure of something. He threw up when coming home from the breeder and the next day when he visited the vet. I was using a carrier, but have tried travel a few times with him on my lap in the backseat and alas, no throwing up. I've tried a Thunder Shirt, but that doesn't seem to help. When I needed to drive this week, I had my son hold him on his lap in the backseat and he threw up again. So, it really does seem to be related to his comfort level.

Any suggestions? I feel like "Driving Miss Daisy" with my husband chauffering us to puppy class each Saturday!

I'm not sure of his weight. One month ago, he was 2.75 lbs., so he is on the small side.

Thanks for any suggestions that anyone might have!
