So sorry you for your loss, ok, when I loose a singleton, I do bleach the whelping area well,make sure your girl has a soft stuff toy to carry around this behavior will last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, you have to also help her to get rid of ther milk production, I personally use Dry Parsley in the feedings to help her dry up fast.and last but not least, I will suggest getting her spayed.
