Exactly . I really believe that each of us finds their own special trick

For us it was the 'is my favourite toy in it's death throes' trick

Harry's best toy in the world is his Kong squeaky tennis ball. So I hide one in my desk drawer. If he goes into one of his barking flurries (there's a particular neighbour he hates, I'm not too keen either ) all I have to do is one long, slow s-q-u-e-e-k with it...and he comes running woo hoo!
