Missy was ready to come home to her Foster Momma on Saturday. However, her first day home didn't last for very long until she gave her Foster Mom a big scare.
Poor Baby hadn't had a poop in a few days and anyone who knows what it's like to have abdominal surgery or even a c-section knows what that first time to really use your abdominal muscles post op (that's all I'm gonna say...

) feels like...painful! So, Missy was in some distress trying and got stressed out and made some gasping noises like she couldn't breathe and straight back to the ER hospital they went.
After an overnight stay which included x-rays & some oxygen Missy was given the green light to come home. We aren't exactly sure what happened but, the Vet suspects Foster Momma may have mistaken the after-effects that some dogs display from the intubation tube as a sign Missy was in a bad way.
Tonight Missy is resting comfortably at home with Foster Momma and Foster Daddy and their lil'

boy, Hank who's being a true gentleman to his new foster sibling. It never ceases to amaze me when dogs know that one of them isn't feeling well.
We'll give Missy another day or two and ask Foster Momma to take a picture to share with those on YT who are following her story. It's so wonderful to know that Missy will have a better life now that she had her life-saving surgery!
Will update soon...
