Spaying is a personal choice: I believe in waiting till they are 8-12 months old, especially for the smaller pups. There are pros and cons to doing it too early and after the first heat... I'll try to post some links in the next few days....
I forgot to say: My vet says that Yorkies are prone to getting mites, so I am sure to use a topical treatment that controls them... I use Revolution bc it's one chemical (and my vet recommended it). |
