In my opion I think 5-6 lbs is pretty darn small! Look at all the dogs out there and really people think 6lbs is big?? My parker is a little over 5lbs and I honestly wouldn't have him any other way. When I got him at 15 weeks and he was only 2lbs or so I had to constantly keep an eye on him and was so paranoid that something was going to happen to him especially because he is quite the daredevil! So don't listen to people they can really be so rude
oh well plus the bigger they are the more of them to love!
