I fully agree, I start pad training as soon as the puppies can step out of the whelping box.. the earlier the better , for me and the future parents...
I have my new litter in a metal pen during the day and an enclosed pen in my bedroom at night, and both have a washable pad for them, is accidents but mama is really good teaching them to pee and poop in the pad.
