So our yorkie, Harley, was born Oct. 29th, 2011. She has already started to get silver hair on her head. I was wondering if that is normal?

I was looking on her papers from her vet and it says under breed :Yorkshire Terrier Mix. But the Mix part is blacked out. So I don't know if that is a typo or what. She was marketed as a purebred and we saw pictures of mom prior to getting Harley and she was a yorkie and we saw dad when we got there and he was a Yorkie, but mom wasn't there anymore because she ran away a few days prior.

I'm just wondering if I'm off my rocker in being worried that she's not totally purebred. I won't love her any less if she's not.
