i was mostly curious because the op also has a larger yorkie, so it's uncommon for these guys to get low suagrs.

i think that it's something else that is affecting him...i pulled all the plants out of the rocks he likes to climb on in our back yard today...it's possible he may be eating something in there that is causing him to react this way.

and yes he IS 9.2 lbs of burning love he has stayed steady at that weight for about a month i'm thinking he is done most of his growing.

glad to hear your little guy is doing much better.

Brew hasn't had one of these episodes in like 4 months so i thought/hoped he had grown out of this
If he is having hypoglycemic episodes you need to talk to you vet about it. There are some really serious things that can cause hypoglycemia. Callie would become unresponsive, not eat even her favorite food if placed in front of her, she would be very week unable to hold her self up and her gums would be pale. I would get some sugar in her asap and after a minute or too she would start to respond and sit up on her own and then would eat her food from my hand and I would get some food into her so it would not drop again. I always keep nutrical now. Callie is 16 pounds and she is 4 years old so she isn't a tiny puppy. Our vet really checked everything out and did lots and lots and lots of blood work and found nothing and she had checked Callie out physically very good so she felt like there was nothing seriously wrong with Callie but just because nothing was wrong with Callie does not mean that its normal because its not.
