I haven't seen any coats at the store locally to try. Yes internet shopping can be tricky. I do have free two day shipping through Amazon though just would have to pay return shipping if needed. The company does not list girth. I'll dig further and make a call if I can find a number. I do own a sewing machine, but don't know how to use it.
