I have seen it all where dogs are concerned, when multiple guests are over all of my pets go in to another room. I have my reasons but to avoid any problems whatsoever, I think this is the best situation.
When we visit other peoples homes our pets stay home or we stay at pet friendly hotel if need be.
I am a firm believer in this. Its best for all concerned.
