I'm in love with this coat, but conflicted on whether to get a xsm or small. My puppy is 18 weeks old, born in October. He is roughly 4 lb...maybe less since we buzzed hair off. I did measure base of neck to base of tail and he is approx. 10-11 inches. (hard to get a good measurement when he keeps sitting down)
Not really sure where the coat should hit on his back? And although he seems long and more like a small according to the website measurements he is tiny/scrawney overall. Again this is probably because his hair is short.
Would you all get a xsm or small? Has anyone purchased a Pet Life brand coat? I'm sure he will continue to grow. Dad was 4 lb...mom a few lbs heavier. I would hate to get something he grows right out of, but also know how small yorkies are and this may be a coat for a more bulky dog.
8" - Extra Small
10-12" - Small
