The reps usually don't know much, to be honest, lol. I worked for a dog food company for a few weekends. They literally gave me like a little hour interview, handed me some papers, and sent me to a few petsmart locations to promote their food and talk to people. Yeah I really knew nothing about the food or the formulas and was basically just kind of winging it.
