Sigh. Yes.
It's my family's kids..and they all have dogs. The parents are making a choice to allow their children to do whatever they want with animals.
Kids: "Can we feed the dogs??"
Me: "NO".
Kids: (ever so quietly feeding the dogs anyway - including Ellie, the one that can't have treats!!!)
GAH!!
It's hard bc there is only so much you can supervise your dog. Mine were in a gated room and the kids were supposed to be with their parents eating dinner! After breaking up a dog fight over the food, and before inducing vomiting so E wouldn't get deathly ill, I told them that she could die bc of them and sorry isn't good enough. LOL. My mom yelled at them too. They are only 3, but they soooo know better. We take no crap from children messing with our dogs.
One time a child barked in Ellie's face like a dog. Ellie almost bit her face off. Wonder why she is such a grump.
