YOU can register your dog through ckc site.....go to their site and it will let you register your puppy after it is 6 months old without the sire and dam info. you take several pictures of your yorkie going by their specifications and have two witness signatures and pay their fees. i just got my gabby registered this way. her father was akc and mother ckc but the breeder wanted $300 from me. i didn't even buy the dog from her. some stupid contract she had with the orignal buyer......anyhow, i got her registered w/o her and saved money.
