This is also how my husband was finally able to quit smoking 15 months ago. But I have to say that he
really wanted to quit and I believe its the only reason that he has lasted smoke free. Our neighbors also both quit with Wellbutrin almost 12 yrs ago and although they "fell off the wagon" a couple of times they immediately went back to the Wellburtin and stopped again.
My only advice about quitting is that your husband needs to do it for himself and want to quit otherwise he will not be successful no matter what method he uses. Good luck
