Nothing is ever free! Last week I was flying high, I got a promotion/raise and signed my offer letter and I was wrapping up wedding stuff, getting married in 44 days now!
Then this week, **BOOM** the hammer strike. My grandmother was just diagnosed with colon cancer, she's 80 years old and has dementia (not terrible yet) and today there was a big layoff here at work.
Does it seem that when something good happens, then something bad must follow it, maybe to keep the energy balanced, within us? I don't know.
I am very sad for my coworkers who were let go today. I am very thankful that I was not one of them. I pray they all find new and better jobs quickly!
