My new baby was only 7 weeks old when I got her. The lady told me she was 8 weeks and I had just lost my husband and my Dee Dee, our Yorkiei of 10 years so I didn't go over her AKC papers. The lady had started them on Pee Pads and being cold in Ohio and her so young and tiny I found this worked fine. I am still using them I have had her about 5 weeks now and I see nothing wrong with them. I found Yorkies to be hard to potty train compared to other dogs I have had. Dee Dee would go out when the weather was nice and if cold, NOPE and we did not start her out on Pee pads so we ended up going through a lot of mops and carpet cleaners. We loved her so much and it was just me and my husband so we didn't mind. If you read, a lot of people in apartments and condos with no place to take them out use these all the time. What ever works for you and your baby is fine.
