Mom should be still feeding them at this point, but you can start adding to their diet, when I start weaning i do with, goats milk and soft puppy food for at least a couple of weeks, 5 times a day.. then I add to that grounded puppy kibble, and a drop of Karo syrop to their water, I had a girl that started weaning her pups at 5 weeks and the pups did really well with this mixture, my chanel will feed her litter until 6 weeks , after that she wants nothing to do with feeding them or cleaning their pen, but she still wants to be around them, to correct them and play with them, I usually put a baby onesie on her to keep them off her, and only let them nurse at night until they are about 7 weeks..
