I don't have this book but I will say that I literally have strudel with me 24/7. I watch his every move and in 2 weeks of being here he has only had one accident in the house. I take him out often but I don't stay out long. I don't want him to get 'potty time' confused with 'playtime'
I give him a treat for potty outside, and it's the Ferrari treat that he only gets then, different from his training treats. He now LOVES to potty outside, and two days ago he actually went to the door!!
I definitely wouldn't say heis house broken yet, but consistency and patience will pay off Joyce!!! Just keep at it she will get it.
Another member mentioned hanging a bell from the door. I am going to try this. This is our next step getting him to go to the door consistently
